Welcome to Twisted Tales

Once upon a time there was a young girl who loved to write, once upon a time. She started as a mere child, writing poems and songs for the horses in the field and the dog and cats at her side. Hours were spent with the animals, trudging through adventure after adventure, defeating foe after foe. Days of delight were spent in the forest with a slobbery dog and a cat with pink padded paws.
Time passed, and the little girl grew up. Instead of writing little ditties, she moved onto something greater, something bigger. She decided to record the quests and journies that she expierenced with her drooling dog and pink footed cat. Time was of the necessity. So many stories to relive and to retell, her fingers would fly across the keyboard when they weren't stroking the soft cat or wiping the mouth of the dog.
She wrote about things she knew, people she had met, places she had seen. She imbedded these real places and people into the heart of the stories, which were always fantastical and fabled. The stories themselves were fairy tales, but the characters were always real. No one would believe the delightful tales she had to tell. Indeed, what sort of eighteen year old would think of magic? But she knew that magic doesn't necessarily mean chanting spells, amazing talismens, or never ending strength. She knew that magic was a thing that flowed from the heart, and never stopped coming.
And So She Wrote
