I am sorry for my long absense! At least I haven't totally disappeared off the face of the planet though. I mean my writing on my webpage is still going. But either way I REALLY have to update Fanfiction this week. The nice reivews I'm still getting from readers is giving me an ulcer.

Phases of the Moon. Pretty huh? I think life is sorta like the moon. I mean no one can be happy all the time, not matter what. Just like no one can be miserable all the time. Life is all about edges and flows. No matter how bad life can be, take heart in knowing that it will get better. It has to. With out hope there really is no reason to live. Hope is beautiful, much like the moon. If the moon and stars didn't glow up in the night sky, night wouldn't be beautiful at all. It would be black...empty...dark. So in your darkest hours remember this...watch the moon.

Once Upon a Twisted Tale

K.M. Go to invisiblechildren.com and see the story...It's heart changing. It's all about these children in the country of Uganda, and every night they travel from their homes to the villages so they can sleep at the bus stops in hopes of not being kidnapped and forced to kill. There is no possible way for me to even express the horrors that these kids go through.
I would say what got me the most was when this kid was telling the guy who was filming about his older brother who was killed when they escaped aubductors. I have two sisters, both older, and watching this boy break down as he thought about his brother who he couldn't see, and wouldn't see until he died, well it made me want to cry. My sisters are alive. They're alive, and well, and I will see them, and hear from them almost every day. I can't imagine life without them!
If you have siblings, treasure them. I don't care how horrible they act at times, or how selfish they can be, treasure them. I was going over my notes for My Pet and Honor and Glory. Wow, XD The end is nearly upon both of them. (When I say that I mean that the next chapters are going to be LOOONNGGG and PACKED with excitment and intense scenes.

I LOVE today's picture! It's probably one of the best drawn horses I've seen when it comes to anime. (Seriously, it's like they purposely screw up the horses to drive me crazy!) I'm getting some new manga in probably next week, so that will be exciting! And I have to work a lot this week, but hey I'm going to buy Zelda Twilight Princess so I'll need the extra cash.

One thing that really ticks me off is boys who rush into the scene right after you've beaten the villian. I'm speaking figurativly here. Like whenever I'm up against impossible odds I have my friends with me, and we beat them. Then in rides Prince Charming, all set to save me. (Gag me, please!) It makes me want to punch him in the teeth! HE wasn't there when I was whooping butt and getting my own rear wiped across the floor! (grumble) Meh, whatever. I only have two more pages to edit on Heart Hacking, so I'll probably post the new chapter by tomorrow.

Once Upon a Twisted Tale

K.M. Hah. My cat BIT ME! Like ouchie boo-boo bit me! (looks smug) I chased her. Besides that nothing particularly 'funny' has happened. Well there was that one incident with this telephone marketer calling for my parents. Let's just say that he now thinks that my parents have an illigal immigrant working for them as a maid while they vacation in the Bahamas before moving onto Europe. Muwahah.
Writing... well... Hmm... I have a new drabble for Meant to Be uploaded and corrected, ditto with Honor and Glory. I have like a mere paragraph of In the Doghouse done, and I really should get started on that new chapter of My Pet. XD I guess I'm putting it off since A Jar of Pens hasn't opened up yet. (sigh) That's one bad thing about me, the only thing that motivates me to write fanfiction is the praise I get. As a side note these last two chapters I wrote and released have been the most well reviewed ever. As another side note I think I'll release Heart Hacking soonish on A Single Spark.
Tis it for now! I leave you with this first verse of a poem upon which I have a new story starting with!

Seven Knights
Seven Knights, seven connected nights,
Seven wrongs that won't make a right,
Seven sunsets echoing might,
A single girl unable to write,

One will fall and sink to the ground,
One will fly to the sky abound,

Once Upon a Twisted Tale

K.M. You are a manager person and you run a chain of pizza parlors in a city. (Your choice.) I was doing okay, but unfortunately I spent to much money sending thugs and cockroaches to my competitor, as well as buying new stores. I am now one mill. in the hole. Needless to say the CEOs were not happy, and they informed me my contract was broken. So now I'm a homeless pizza parlor manager.
Sadly my writing skills seem to be about as good as my managing skills. (I'm stuck in My Pet at the moment. I know what I need to do but I don't feel like doing it.) Voting has not yet opened, Somehow I doubt it will EVER open at this rate, but pretty soon a greatly improved Heart Hacking will be debuting at A Single Spark. I am excited about that much at least.
As a side note I am deeply enjoying making my little banner thingies for my blog entries. =^.^= actually I think that sometimes it is the only reason why I update. I'm hooked on photoshop almost as much as I'm hooked on Fast Food Tycoon. (Whhhhyyyy did the CEOs fire me?? I'll admit it might have been a bit over the top to send that mobster to hold those employees hostage, but who WOULDN'T want to do that simply so they can see a guy in a trench coat poke a big fat guy in a chefs outfit?)
That is all for now, Ja matta! Star Wars did, ALL Fairy Tales do, Lord of the Rings did too. I mean, there are the occasional exceptions like Harry Potter... but even then that is some place that we cannot touch. Why is that? Why do we have to leap through a wardrobe in order to get where the real adventures are?

To be honest, I don't think we have to.

Moving on! Funny story! So I'm at work and I'm going to use the phone to call someone, XD And it Falls Off the wall! I mean like BANG, that thing DIED! So I'm positively horrified and I race across my room to grab a book from a plastic slot, AND THE PLASTIC BREAKS! I have a BROKEN, SHATTERED phone on the ground, now complete with a spider webbed plastic slot! My boss tells me that she needs to see me in her office, and I forgot a spoon to eat my whipped yogurt with! (Believe me, it was very interesting getting that mouse out of the container. I believe that it was not meant to be a finger food) I then hear about this cross dressing shoplifter (Don't ask.) I FINALLY get back to the registers and I have a bunch of belts over my shoulder since I'm sorting them when this hot guy walks up and asks if I could help him. I smile and say sure and I plop the LAST BELT on my shoulder, which WHIPS around with it's GIGANTIC buckle and STABS me in the back, knocking the breath out of my so I collapse in a hyperventilateing coughing fit. At least the hot guy laughed and helped me stand. I think I just succeeded in breaking 'the stupidest way to injure yourself in front of a cute guy' record.

On a side note it is an A class misdemeanor to wave a torch in the air in Wisconsin.

Once Upon a Twisted Tale

K.M. Seriously girls, think about it! That clean little freak is off prancing around in some Grand place while you're stuck in the dust, hoping that he'll save you, without any alternative.
Pft. Screw him.
I just watched Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White. I noticed a common factor, in all three movies the princes suck. Seriously! Okay Prince Charming in Cinderella says about ten words, three of them being the same. (ie: "Wait! Come back!) In Snow White all the prince does is sing! He doesn't even Kill the wicked witch, he lets the dwarves do all the work and then prances up on his rather poorly drawn horse and sings to her! You don't even find out his name! And Sleeping Beauty...well her prince was probably the best off since he has a few lines, he actually kills the bad guy, and he does save the Princess. The Stupid part though was that he never knew here name! He fell in love with her after seeing her ONCE! Not to mention she was supposed to be 16 (I think) when she pricked her finger. HE'S A FREAKING CRADLE ROBBER!
Yes, I have a fairy tale complex, yes I would LOVE to be a princess, but NO, good Lord NO, I don't want some prissy stuffed up prince! Give me a Knight! (More about that another day.)
As a closing note, most princes suck. (Okay, I said most so there might be a few exceptions.) Well I could go on for hours about my life, a Twisted Tale which is what inspired this blog, but hey! This post is already pretty long so I'll cut it off here.

Once Upon a Twisted Tale

K.M. She started as a mere child, writing poems and songs for the horses in the field and the dog and cats at her side. Hours were spent with the animals, trudging through adventure after adventure, defeating foe after foe. Days of delight were spent in the forest with a slobbery dog and a cat with pink padded paws.
Time passed, and the little girl grew up. Instead of writing little ditties, she moved onto something greater, something bigger. She decided to record the quests and journies that she expierenced with her drooling dog and pink footed cat. Time was of the necessity. So many stories to relive and to retell, her fingers would fly across the keyboard when they weren't stroking the soft cat or wiping the mouth of the dog.
She wrote about things she knew, people she had met, places she had seen. She imbedded these real places and people into the heart of the stories, which were always fantastical and fabled. The stories themselves were fairy tales, but the characters were always real. No one would believe the delightful tales she had to tell. Indeed, what sort of eighteen year old would think of magic? But she knew that magic doesn't necessarily mean chanting spells, amazing talismens, or never ending strength. She knew that magic was a thing that flowed from the heart, and never stopped coming.

And So She Wrote

Once Upon a Twisted Tale

K.M.
